thanksgiving 10k

I ran my first 10k for thanksgiving and my 45th birthday, i ran every step it did take 74 minutes but thats ok it was amazing to be running with 15,000 other people wow!!!!!!!!!

mountain bike

well i biked the same trails i ran yesterday, they were  more difficult today  all of the uphills set my thighs on fire. It was a great ride i love the serenity of the woods. completed ride in 63 min should have done better maybe next time

What a workout :)

Had a 90 minute work out with trainer. I am still amazed at his creativity, keeps me guessing.Love my workouts. I am going to a cardio class tonight for the first time hope it goes well!!!!!!!!!

Bootcamp :)

Had my regular sat boot camp It was a tough one….. But i finished first, i use to always be  last, I am the oldest there. We ran 1 mile for warm up worked all the exercise stations around track i started with 60 pushups  did butt kickers to the next 4 stations ouch !!! then we had to lunge to the next 4 did between 350 and 400 lunges whew are my legs  and butt sore today . But you know i have been sore for 18 months Keeps me motivated. When i am sore i know i am working hard. My trainer keeps my workouts so fresh and new i never get use to them……..To those who sent so many comments thanks for the encouragement, it really helps me.

Awesome!!!!!! first official 5K

Did my first official 5k in cincinnati, run like hell, had a blast ran with my younger friends and they had to keep up with me, in the past it was me trying to keep up with them….. I AM A RUNNER!!!!!!! seems like a dream you know when your 300 lbs you barely walk let alone run.I know to many this seems like a small thing but wow this is fun. My time was 36.32 not the best but there were people still coming in 15 min later so deffinatly not the worst………

had a great workout today did 1.5 hrs strength training followed by a 4.43 min 1 mile speed run whew, that was rough

wow

wow i had a busy weekend  ran 7 miles of trails in 85 min on sat 6 min faster than last time, did the same 7 miles on mountain bike on sunday in 60 min should have done better but legs were a little fatigued. Did 1.5 hrs strength training with personal trainer today. I think tomorrow i will take the day off maybe just take an easy walk.
